The Uncanny Counter Season 2 Episode 3 Recap
The Uncanny Counter season 2 episode 3 begins with Pil-gwang entering the noodle shop and So Mun spotting him. The two sit across from each other and soon begin to access each other’s powers with a psychokinetic face-off which ends up in a draw. However, it is after the two separate that they realise just how shocking the other one really is.
On the other hand, the Counters decide to move to another location as their base has been discovered by the three spirits. Meanwhile, Mo-tak is giving training to the new recruits when he gets the news that Ju-seok has run away with a fire truck. He rushes to stop him from whatever he is doing and sees Ju-seok attacking the person who has been charged with his wife’s murder.

However, Ju-seok is unable to kill the man and is taken behind bars. So Mun is shocked to find out about this and rushes to meet Ju-seok, only to see a man who only regrets not being able to take revenge for his wife. So Mun feels distressed for him but is unable to do anything.
Meanwhile, the Counters are taken to a new location by Jang-mul and are left awestruck by how wonderful his arrangement for the team is. Jang-mul also prepares new costumes for the team and they soon change into them for a round of training. It is So Mun against all and while everyone ends up being beaten by So Mun, Ha-na is not ready to give up.
It is only when she is finally able to deliver a blow to So Mun that she stops the match as everyone applauds her. In prison, Ju-seok is taken into isolation after a fight with others. There he decides to finally give up on life; however, when he tries to kill himself, an evil spirit arrives and takes over his body to cause a new round of chaos.
The next day, Ha-na is followed by Jeok-bong for a run when he asks her to stop for a moment while he gets some ice cream. While waiting for him, Ha-na hears piano music and is taken back to the past. However, she soon sees the man from this very memory standing in front of her.
Right then, Jeok-bong returns and is approaching her when he falls and ends up with a nosebleed. However, this causes him to smell something bad which he thinks is coming out from the man in front of him. However, it is not him but an evil spirit who has entered the man’s piano academy.

Ha-na takes care of the evil spirit while Jeok-bong’s powers are finally discovered. He finally feels proud of himself, while Mo-tak feels inferior for not being able to be on par with the young blood on the team. The next day, Jeok-bong continues to show off his power when he once again smells something bad and the team rush out to follow his nose.

However, they are soon disappointed and think that Jeok-bong needs to be trained to be reliable. Ha-na then detects two spirits, one in the reeds and another in a museum. Mae-ok and Jang-mul decide to take on the one in the museum, assuming it to be weaker, while the others leave for the reeds.
Jeok-bong is unsure about this decision and So Mun sensing this asks him about it. He tells So Mun that he is unsure if the one in the reeds is really that strong. It turns out that his words are true and there are two spirits waiting Mae-ok and Jang-mul in the museum and they are none other than Pil-gwang and Wong.
The fight soon begins and the Counters are about to lose when So Mun appears and saves the two on time.
The Uncanny Counter Season 2 Episode 3 Review
Episode 3 ushers in more twists and turns for this season and has shown that the three evil spirits arriving in Korea were just the beginning. The real tragedy began with a death and this is going to cause a big chaos in the show later on.
Also, it looks like a new villain has appeared today inside Jo-seok’s body who also seems on par with Pil-gwang. This is really bringing in a new wave of excitement for us all. Finally, we got a glimpse of Ha-na’s past today and it makes me wonder if some more faces from the past are going to pop up soon.
