The Uncanny Counter Season 2 Overview

The Uncanny Counter Season 2 (경이로운 소문 2: 카운터 펀치) brings the return of the supernatural mystery comedy-drama of the same name directed by Yoo Seon-dong. The show stars  Cho Kyeong-kyu, Yoo Joon-sang, Kim Se-jeong, Yeom Hye-ran, Ahn Suk-hwan, and Yoo In-soo in the lead roles alongside other cast members.

The new season continues the story of the group of Counters who catch evil spirits from the afterlife who have come in search of immortality. With new members joining the gang and bigger evils coming their way, the Counters are ready for a counterattack and stop anyone who comes their way.

The Uncanny Counter 2 takes over tvN’s Saturday-Sunday 9:20 PM KST time slot previously occupied by See You in My 19th Life.

The Uncanny Counter Season 2 Plot

The synopsis of the show reads, “Armed with new powers and fresh recruits, the Counters continue their battle against evil demons who feed on humans.”

While Ha-na and the others face Gelly, So Mun fights Pil-gwang, however, this time he doesn’t seem to be doing too well. Later, Gelly tells the others about having seen Min-ji in Ha-na’s memories while Jeok-bong runs away from the team and back home. The Counters all arrive to take him back when they notice something peculiar.

It seems like Jeok-bong is somehow attracting evil spirits to himself.

The Uncanny Counter Season 2 Episode 3 Recap

The Counters base is revealed after Pil-gwang himself arrives to have a face-off with So Mun. The team decide to move away while Mo-tak stops Jo-seok from killing the offender who supposedly murdered his wife. Later, the team arrive at Jang-mul’s prepared base and is awestruck by how amazing it is.

They soon begin with training and soon Jeok-bong’s new powers are discovered which makes the man filled with pride. On the other hand, Jo-seok is possessed by an evil spirit. Meanwhile, Jeok-bong pride soon shatters when he is unable to properly use his powers which ends up with Mae-ok and Jang-mul falling straight into the hands of Pil-gwang and Wong.

Luckily, So Mun arrives on time to save them.
