Zom 100 Bucket List of the Dead Episode 4 Review- Flight Attendant

Flight attendant Zom 100 Bucket List of the Dead Episode 4

This was the episode of Zom 100 that has progressed the plot the least so far, which was going to happen sometime anyways, so it is okay to get it out of the way. The premise was simple: knock out a few things off the bucket list by getting a huge TV. A simple fetch quest, if you will. What it became after that is to be discussed later along the line, but this formula is one that is here to stay for the show, and it is a good one.

Akira and Kencho’s friendship dynamic is decent, although we still haven’t spent enough time with just the two of them to say any more than that. If anything, they might be too similar to each other. They have distinguishing traits, sure, but they are from the same college and became friends because of their shared interests. Thus, their thoughts and opinions on this world aren’t going to differ very much. That’s not an issue, of course, because that is what the other characters are for.

Unfortunately, there were no permanent ones introduced in this episode. We saw our protagonists interact with a group of flight attendants, which turned out to be a bucket list item and something that Akira had promised Kencho just this morning! Go figure! They were a jolly bunch, albeit with somewhat limited personality traits usually reserved for people who aren’t going to make it to the end of the episode. Akira and Kencho’s conversations with them served to highlight that there are other people in the same position as them, but not much more.

There was also some very solid action in Zom 100 Bucket List of the Dead Episode 4, which is fast becoming the highlight of each episode of the show. A very good “cool guys don’t look at explosions” moment, followed by a solid bike chase through the subway, made for a very entertaining watch in the first half of the episode. There were also some close combat scenes that were handled very well, alongside the usual subliminal use of colour that is also now becoming commonplace.

Zom 100 Bucket List of the Dead Episode 4 was a good outing overall, although it did not offer anything new to the show as it existed. You could skip it (some people already have because of the delay), which wouldn’t make a difference in your overall watching experience. This is the formula, and the show is obviously going to be sticking to it going forward. If that is the case, then the introduction of the new characters to the group will help it a lot in its longevity.

Verdict

Zom 100 Bucket List of the Dead Episode 4 was a fairly decent episode that featured some great action and animation and a few character moments that felt like repeats from previous episodes.
